Naka got me thinking...

Back to a better time, which led me to this:

Sure, Dream didn't have the sheer power, short shorts, and rage of this man, but can you beat that soundtrack? Negatron, my good homeys. Dream shaked, he yammed, he supported terrorism indirectly. Plus, he undoubtedly spent a lot of time "just lampin" with his fellow countrymen. And perhaps most importantly, he took his feeble knowledge of the English language, merged it with his evolving love of the rap game, and produced this gem.

In other news, Brett Myers has hit the skids. The official, downright skids. I've posed this question to half the editorial staff already, but if one had to guess, is Mr. Myers here, here, here, or here in one month's order? Because the one place I honestly do NOT want to see him is here.

  1. Seeing the Dream inevitably takes me back to a time of Prism Tomjonavich's famous "Get the fuck away from me, kid."

Brett Myers stinks. Maybe the only way to reach him is to send him down to the minors for a little while to give him the clear message that his crappity-crap performances won't be tolerated, and maybe he can get his confidence back facing minor league hitters.

Phils are also trying to hurry the rehab of Kris Benson to potentially replace Myers in the rotation.

  2. Also, at this point, the Phils probably couldn't even get Marlon Byrd for Brett Myers in a trade (and I might kill myself if they did, unless we got Michael Young in said trade to play third).

I just noticed this evening that Lohse has a record of 9-2 thus far this season...Sure would be nice to have him now. This was also called by Chief Naka. Why the F did they let him go? At this point, I would even prefer Lieber or Wolfpack.

  3. Lohse wanted #1 or 2 in the rotation money, and in hindsight it would have made sense, but at the time we had the mighty Brett Myers returning as a starter so it made no sense....again, in hindsight, made sense.

  4. Phils have money. They should have paid him.

Myers is a douche. I'm calling WIP and saying so.

  5. I am also going to ask Gargano (in an extreme cuz accent) why Iguchi isn't any good this year, and why they put him out in left, cuz?

    2nd time, long time, king.

  6. aCTUALLY, THE PHILS OFFERED LOSHE MORE MONEY AND YEARS THEN HE ENDED UP SIGNING FOR...

  7. Lohse was lights-out (insert the Santi White track here) against the Mets yesterday, and has now improved to 10-2.

I'd settle for iced cream-eating Corey Lidle over Myers at this point, dead or alive... Too soon? Bad taste? Well, so is wife-beating.

I hope that Myers can turn his dismal season around and make me gulp my words like Twinky (Eli's new nickname) chugs you know what.

Phils begin a series with the Braves tonight.

    Go Phils.

  8. Oh yeah, and Hakeem was great, but Big Firm's wall looked like a friggin' stalkers shrine.

"I love you Dream and you love meeee!"

  9. Well, Iguchi might still be great, and lord knows he is...on whatever team he's on. we have TAGUCHI, who licks balls.

  10. Yes, I know. I was making fun of Phillies fans, underestimating their intelligence and ability to decipher two Japanesies with such similar names.

I think Iguchi is now on the Padres. Tadahito is also one of my favorite names of all time.

Hot off the presses: Myers has been sent down to Lehigh Valley. You can call me the next Chief Naka.

  12. You predicted the same thing the DN and Inky predicted weeks ago. Well done.

You really need a more contrusctive hobby, or any hobby for that matter. Like porn.

  13. If you can suggest something more "contrusctive," besides said alternative, which is already a hobby (and an unhealthy one at that), please do so.
